We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with experience in leading site teams on residential projects valued between $20m-$60m to join our tight-knit team.
The successful applicant will head up a team of up to 10 site staff on an 11-storey residential project across 3 towers. Reporting to the director of construction and supported by the construction manager you will foster a collaborative team environment through your leadership and communication skills and instil good site governance practices to ensure all project outcomes are met.
The role requires a leader who is conversant with building codes, standards, and build methodologies and has a solutions-driven approach, with the initiative to solve problems and manage conflict. There are future growth pathways within the business that has a reputation for loyalty with many long-standing members on its team.

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with experience in leading site teams on residential projects to join our tight-knit team on an established Sunshine Coast multi-res project, valued between $20m-$60m.
The successful applicant will head up a team of up to 8 site staff on the 7-level residential project “Zinc Bokarina”, consisting of 2 apartment towers and a townhouse block, on Bokarina Beach. The basement has been cut, and foundations are set to kick-off, so the project is in the perfect situation for the right candidate to take ownership and drive it from here.

Junior Design Assistant / Cadet Draftsperson

We are seeking a driven and ambitious person to provide administrative assistance to our design team with the opportunity to expand into a Revit drafting based role preparing drawings for multi-residential projects. The successful candidate would join our tight-knit in-house design team at the head office based in Nundah, Brisbane.
In addition to being a true team player with a desire to learn and grow, the ideal candidate will be a great communicator with the ability to plan and prioritise their work and be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite with Revit skills being an advantage.
For candidates looking to enter the design industry with no previous experience, GVG can offer flexible or reduced hours to work around your role relevant studies.
Reporting to both the Director of Design and Design Manager in a collaborative team environment, the successful applicant will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Using the Procore platform to perform design oriented administrative tasks,
  • Document control, including filing and issuing,
  • Pricing of client amendments,
  • Preparation of drawings in Revit for client amendments,
  • Assisting in the preparation of tender and construction working drawings,
  • Other tasks as required to assist.
